About the Cupcake Tyrant!

I have been fascinated with baking since I got my ‘Cherry Merry Muffin’ doll at the age of 3 and filled the cherry-shaped sugar shaker with powdered sugar. When I was old enough to earn the responsibility of terrorizing flour, sugar and butter with whisks and mixers, I became enamored with the idea of making something unique and delicious from simple ingredients. Since then I have noticed that most bakeries are dainty and pastel; two things that have never been used to describe me. I wanted my cupcakes to reflect my eccentric fashion and cultural interests and a punk rock attitude. I wanted to create a cupcake that bites back! Calamity Cupcake is the manifestation of this rad journey and aspires to destroy the boundaries of the cupcake world.
